教授

博士生导师,863"半导体照明工程"总体专家组成员,教育部 2007 年度新世纪优秀人才支持计划入选者。现任中山大学电子与信息工程技术学院教授,中山大学佛山研究院院长,半导体照明材料及器件国家地方联合工程实验室(中山大学)主任。

2001 年毕业于日本名古屋工业大学,获得工学博士学位,主要从事与 GaAs,GaN 基 III-V 族化合物半导体材料的MOCVD 生长与相关光电子器件制作方面的研究工作。

2001 年 4 月至2004 年4 月,就职于日本富士通量子器件公司,主要从事应用10Gb/s,40Gb/s 超高速光通信系统的InP 基光电二极管芯片与探测器模块的研究开发工作。

2004 年 4 月至今,作为中山大学“百人计划”特聘教授,受聘于中山大学光电材料与技术国家重点实验室,从事氮化镓、氧化锌等新型宽禁带化合物半导体薄膜材料外延生长及相关元器件制备工艺技术方面的研究、教学工作,期间担任科技部 “十一五” “十二五” 国家科技重点专项(半导体照明专项)总体专家组专家、广东省LED光源标准化技术委员会副主任委员、广东半导体光源产业协会副理事长、广东半导体照明工程省部产学研创新联盟理事长、广东省照明学会理事长等社会兼职。2013年被日本名古屋工业大学聘为该校日本国家级极微构造器件系统机能研究中心外部评审委员。

 

英文简历:

Prof. Wang received his doctoral degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology in 2001. His primary research focuses on the growth of GaAs and GaN-based III-V compound semiconductor materials and related optoelectronic devices by MOCVD.
From Apr. 2001 to Apr. 2004, he was engaged in the research and development on InP-based photoelectric diode and detection module for 10 Gb/s and 40 Gb/s ultra-high-speed optical communication systems in Fujitsu Quantum Device Company.
Since Apr. 2004, Prof. Wang  joined the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies of Sun Yat-sen University as a specially-appointed professor for the 100-Talent Program in the University. He has been devoting himself to the research and teaching in III-V compound semiconductor materials and optoelectronic devices technologies. Concurrently, he served in the general expert group of the National Science and Technology Major Project (Semiconductor Lighting Project Part) in the 11th and 12th Five Year Plan Key Project of China. He has also been the vice-chairman of Technical Committee on LED Light Source of Standardization of Guangdong Province and the vice-chairman of  the Industry Association of Semiconductor Lighting Source of Guangdong Province, as well as the chairman of Guangdong Province Industry-University-Research Innovation Union of Semiconductor Lighting Project and Guangdong Illuminating Association and other social positions. In 2013, he was employed by the Research Center for Nano-Device and System of Nagoya Institute of Technology as Japanese state-level external evaluation committee member.
