刘洁
刘洁,博士生导师,光电材料与技术全国重点实验室固定成员,广东省杰出青年基金获得者。主要研究方向是光计算与光互连核心器件及系统,近5年以第一或通讯作者在Light: Science & Applications, Optica, Advanced Photonics等光学领域顶级期刊,以及OFC,ECOC,CLEO等光电子领域重要国际会议上发表论文40余篇;主持多项国家级重大项目课题,获国家自然科学基金面上项目接续支持;相关成果获中国电子学会自然科学一等奖(第二完成人),ESI高被引、国际光学学会光学亮点、光通信旗舰会议OFC最高分论文等。
任职中山大学以来,指导本科毕业设计14人次,获中山大学本科生优秀毕业论文1项;指导本科生竞赛及科研计划12人次,获学生创新创业训练计划国家级项目1项;联合指导中山大学优秀博士论文、优秀博士毕业生1人次;指导硕士生入职华为、小米、电信、联通等知名企业10人次,博士生入职985高校2人次。2025 年获全国电子信息类实验教学设计竞赛中南区二等奖、全国三等奖(排名第三);2023、2024 连续两年获中山大学电子与信息工程学院教学竞赛一等奖(唯一完成人)。
担任光学领域知名期刊Optics Express编委成员(Assoicated Editor); 任光通信旗舰会议OFC 技术程序分委会委员 (TPC subcommittee member)。

研究方向
研究方向简介:主要面向光子计算与大容量光互连通信两个方向,致力于光学原理与人工智能技术的结合。其中光子计算方向,探索统计物理过程启发的计算新范式,研究光物理过程与神经网络的映射机制,并研制相应光电子芯片与系统,实现数字硬件难以高效完成的计算;而光互连通信方向,则利用机器学习/深度学习算法探究常规光学原理中难以实现或发现的效应,从而优化器件与系统性能,并在大容量传输和互连架构上取得突破。
